Rediscovering Rehabilitation

The Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association Education Committee is inviting proposals for professional presentations at the 2012 Winter Meeting in Wheeling, IL, March 15-17, 2012. Athletic Trainers and affiliated professionals are encouraged to submit proposals for general sessions and /or breakout sessions.

Presentation topics should address athletic training domain(s) beyond entry –level knowledge or address a topic that would make a valuable contribution to the understanding of the practice or pedagogy of athletic training. Preference will be given to those topics related to the meeting theme – “Rediscovering Rehabilitation.”

Proposal submissions must include the application form indicating the presentation type and resources needed as well as an abstract (250 word limit). All proposals must be submitted electronically through the GLATA website (http://www.glata.org/index.cfm?nodeID=21272 ). Mailed or faxed submissions will not be considered. Please contact Jessica Emlich, GLATA Education Committee Chair (Jemlich@franklincollege.edu) regarding any questions. Submissions must be received by April 1, 2011for consideration. Each submission will undergo review by the GLATA Education Committee.
