The Michigan Athletic Trainers Society is pleased to announce the success of our 6th Annual Athletic Training Student Seminar and Bowl.  This year, we had 200 participants and for the first time in seminar history all 13 Michigan CAATE-Accredited institutions were represented.  A special thank you is needed to the following sponsors for this year’s seminar: The Michigan Athletic Trainers Society, AllSport, MioTech Orthopedics, Henry Schein, Medco Sports Medicine, Smitty’s Iron Works, USOC and Michigan State University.   Also, a huge thank you is needed to all those who gave donated door prizes.

At the conclusion of this year’s seminar Jeremy Marra MS, ATC stepped down as the chair of the ATSC.  Jeremy served as chair for the past three years in addition to serving as a student member the three years prior to that.  Jeremy’s service to the state of Michigan in promoting the profession of athletic training and the leadership he has shown in regards to athletic training education is greatly appreciated and his presence within the state will be missed.  We wish Jeremy the best of luck as he continues his professional career with the USOC in Lake Placid, New York.

This years seminar theme revolved around “Life after Injury”.  Click on the links below to view presentations from the day.
